STUDYING & INNOVATION CITY
We are working together with educational institutions to give Groningen a role as the national Innovation City. Education, research, and entrepreneurship reinforce each other and make Groningen the knowledge center of the North.
We are working with the Investment and Development Agency for the Northern Netherlands on a fund that invests in young entrepreneurs and innovative companies in Groningen.
We are giving vocational education more space and recognition. Municipalities, schools, and businesses are collaborating more closely. We are creating additional internship opportunities, development chances and ensuring a smooth transition to work in growth sectors such as the energy transition. This way, Groningen is utilizing the talent that is being trained here.
