Hey!! My name is Maruška and I am number 44 on the support list of Student & Stad! I am from the Czech Republic and I came to Groningen to do my studies. The plan was always to move to Randstad afterward, but I fell in love with the city so much I will probably want to grow old here too! While some people think Groningen is too far away from everything (kind of true), I just love the young vibe it has and the coziness of it all. Heel erg gezellig! That’s also why I find it important to have a say in what happens in the city/province, whether you’ve lived here your whole life or if you’re an international that wants to make it better for future generations of students like us!
