Hi! I am Lianne and I am incredibly excited to be on the Student & Stad ballot this year! As a born Groninger, I couldn’t resist returning to the city for my student days, and I haven’t regretted it for a second. There is no other place that feels so secure and at the same time so vibrant. After my BSc in International Business and a year in the board of the EBF, I am now working on my MSc in International Economics and Sustainable Development. Additionally, I am happily contributing this year to all the sports students in Groningen through the General Board of the ACLO!

I enjoy the city every day, but I also see that the voice of our generation is essential for the future of Groningen. I want to work towards a city that is not only fun now, but also remains sustainable for everyone who spends their best years here, or who is yet to do so.
