Hi! My name is Karlijn and I am number 4 on the electoral list of Student&Stad. I was born in Winschoten, moved to Friesland, but eventually returned to our beautiful city. I am currently following the Master's program in Sociology (Politics, Society & Policy), where I am enjoying myself a lot. Besides my studies, I work as a tutor and am active with the Groningen Student Union. Last year, I had the honor of being the chair of the Student&Stad association. In that role, I got to know the party and the people behind it well, which motivated me even more to run for election. I find it inspiring that there is a party representing students at high administrative levels and genuinely wants to engage in dialogue with young people. Young people deserve to be heard, and together we can improve the city. Because together we make the city!
