Hi! I am Fransje and I am on the ballot of Student & Stad. Since July 2025, I have been living happily in Groningen; before that, I always lived in a small village in the Achterhoek. The village coziness and friendliness that I appreciated so much there, I also see reflected in Groningen. This immediately gave me a feeling of home. I think it is important that everyone can feel at home in the city where he or she lives. Because I want to help with this, I have chosen to be on the ballot of Student & Stad. I am currently in my gap year. I am filling this by working in elderly care. My interest in politics has motivated me to start the bachelor’s degree in law next year. I am really looking forward to it. I am excited to commit myself to Groningen in the coming years, so that it remains a vibrant city where everyone can experience that feeling of home.
